Use Separators to differentiate words used in URLs.

Use Separators to differentiate words used in URLs.

23.Nov.2021

Starting on January 1st, 2016, we will be enforcing some changes to the way we generate and store URLs. As of today, if you use a URL like this:

https://www/my-website/my-file

We will start redirecting that to:

https://www/my-website/files/my-file

Doesn't seem like a big difference, but it significantly increases the amount of characters that can be used to reference a single file. In some instances this will allow you to fit some information into a URL that didn't fit before.

Thank you for your time and we hope that this change improves your experience on our network!

Please be sure to forward this announcement to anyone who may have received it from you directly.

We hope that you continue to use our services!

The Title link can either contain a single string or multiple strings seperated by the character specified by the separators setting in your config file under [general] section, default is ",". If you want to send:

https://www/my-website/file1/file2

The separators in the string should be set to ",". Please be sure to set it correctly, otherwise you will get a 500 Internal Server Error when trying to access the URL.
